What do you "Craft for"?
"Every piece of my work embodies my love for creation. For me, craftsmanship is not just a way to express myself, but also an attitude toward life and a process of pursuit.
Although I do not have a formal professional training background, this has not stopped me from realizing my envisioned works through continuous practice and exploration. Whether in the process of seeking inspiration or solving technical challenges, each attempt has given me new ways of thinking.
I hope that by participating in this exhibition, I can meet other people who love creation, and we can share our works and experiences with each other. This is not just an exhibition; it is a gathering of like-minded individuals, allowing us to come together for our passion for creation."

What motivates you to persevere in this industry in Hong Kong?
"Since ancient times, people have had an inseparable relationship with jewellery, and every era requires the existence of jewellery. People need jewellery, and I also love jewellery, so I am doing what I enjoy."

Being in Hong Kong, what benefits and difficulties have you had as a jeweller?
"In this era, fast food culture is quite prevalent, and many people focus only on price and speed, often neglecting the stories and craftsmanship behind the accessories. In the fiercely competitive fast food culture, finding a balance between craftsmanship and the masses requires some thought."

「熱愛使一切理所當然。」
Kelvin's interest in collecting silver jewellery during his student days sparked his curiosity about the process of creating it. Inspired to try his hand at it, he enrolled in the jewellery-making course at Hong Kong Baptist University, dedicating himself to continuous self-improvement.
Although he does not have a formal professional training background, this has not deterred him from realising his artistic vision through constant practice and exploration.
