What do you "Craft for"?

Jewellery is more than just a craft for me; it is an obsession, a deep-seated passion that drives me to transform the ideas in my mind into tangible pieces of art. The moment inspiration strikes, I feel an urgent need to bring these visions to life, immersing myself in the process and exploring new techniques with fervor.

This personal journey of creation is the essence of why I craft—an intimate dialogue between my imagination and the materials I work with. Yet, the significance of each piece doesn't end with my hands. It finds a new purpose, a second meaning, when it resonates with others. When a customer connects with one of my creations, it adds another layer to the story, giving the piece a life and meaning beyond my original intention.

How did you get into the jewellery industry and why?

I discovered my passion for metal crafting while studying jewellery and silversmithing. After graduating, I help curated exhibitions at a Jewellery Gallery for few years, deepening my connection to the craft. I'm fortunate to work in a field I love, and for the past ten years, I've run my own jewellry gallery and workshop, where I continue to explore and create.

What motivates you to persevere in this industry in the city of Hong Kong?

I honestly don't think I would ever stop making jewellery in the my life, it just a passion and hobby.

What are the benefits and difficulties have you faced as a jeweller?

Benefits: As a small company, one of the key benefits is efficiency. We can quickly adapt and respond to changes, ensuring that our creative process remains fluid and dynamic.

Difficulties: A significant challenge I guess everyone is the same is the economy changes.

What message would you like to tell the public through this event?

I want to raise awareness about the importance of art, design, and handcrafted jewelry. These creations are not just accessories; they are expressions of creativity and craftsmanship that deserve appreciation and support.
